The Las Vegas Strip is approximately 4 1/2 miles long. Distances inside and between the many hotels and shopping areas on or near the "Strip" are generally a lot farther than you think. (You can find a "Strip" map at http://vegasreservations.com/stripmap.htm) The walking distance from the back of many hotels to the back of the hotel across the street can easily be more than 1/2 mile one way especially if you have to go down to the corner to cross at the pedestrian overpass. Give your feet a break. Wear Comfortable Shoes!
